As we are fast expanding our business, we seek highly motivated individuals to take up the role of business development and sales executive. This is a part-time position and will not require you to come to the office as you will get a sales commission based on your performance. You also get to work from anywhere, anytime.
- Identifies potential clients and their needs for business expansion.
- Creatively markets products and services (you are free to create your marketing materials) through various online and offline platforms.
- Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners; and discovering and exploring opportunities.
- Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies and deal requirements.
- Develop negotiating strategies by studying the integration of new ventures with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; and estimating clients’ needs and goals.
- Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; and integrating contract requirements with business operations.
- Protects the organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; and participating in professional organizations.
- Enhances online and offline presence through networking with potential student organizations.
- Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
The business development and sales executive candidate typically needs to have the following qualities:
- Proficiency and competency in English and other languages you need to use to interact with clients whose first language is not English.
- In the higher education field.
- Preferably has prior experience in academic publishing.
